Tornado hit my home!

So here is our Christmas....the girls were so totally spoiled. I have to admit I kinda went overboard for some little girls who are not quite 3, but I had so much fun buying Christmas presents that I saved some to give for their birthday which is in Just 2 months...OMG! Oh well, enjoy our mess! Happy New Year!

Finally Happened

Well it finally happened. What happened you may ask and I will tell you? The tattletalling has started. The girls are 28 months now and really talk very well. So, here is what happened.

First I will start with some background. My daughters are very good climbers and recently have taken to climbing onto the diaper changing table themselves and usually with each other. Once on top they get into all kinds of things, the wipes, Vaseline, lotion, you name it. They have both been scolded for this on many occasions because I worry they will topple the table together and fall on their heads....SOOOOOO, last night I was cooking in the kitchen. I have a gate at my kitchen to keep out small children and my daughter Emma came running up to it saying, Momma, Momma...Darah (sarah) is on the table. And sure enough when I went to check, with Emma running in front of me no less, there was Sarah on top getting the wipes. I could not believe it. So now the drama begins, who will tattle first and who will find it annoying...me or them. And they are only 2 I know this will go on forever and a day. Don't get caught in my house doing the wrong thing or Emma and Sarah will tell on you!

Blooming Tomato's

I had wanted to grow something this summer with the girls. So, with the help of Grandpa we planted a large container garden containing big tomato's, grape tomato's & green peppers. Here's a few pics of our prize winners. The girls have been so thrilled to watch them grow from green to red. They know once they are red we can eat them...to which they cry, yummy, my Grandpa do this....mommies never get any credit...oh well, enjoy!

Colors of the Rainbow

We are learning to color...we almost never eat crayons these days. I have to say I am so happy that Crayola makes non-toxic, washable crayons. As we have learned to color both of my girls have eaten a crayon or 2 each and getting all of it of their mouths is quite a process. BUT, I am happy to say we have learned how to use our fine motor skills and how to color without eating a crayon. Here are Emma and Sarah coloring at Grandma's house over this past weekend.

Long time coming

I have not blogged in a very long time. Life has taken over, plus I wasn't sure I had anything worthy to say. The girls turned 2 on March 1st and have turned into lovely little toddlers. They are funny, witty and big time repeaters...their current favorite to repeat is when I call their daddy, my husband, by his first name. If momma calls out Michael, they will repeat his name over and over again...it is very funny. They also call him Honey, Daddy, Michael, like it is his one long name. Here is a current pic...this was taken on the slide at Grandma & Grandpa's house. Enjoy!

Can you say cold?

So it has been a really long time since I posted, no excuses just lazy. So it is so cold & rainy and the crazy thing is I have serious cabin fever, go figure. But being the good mommy I am I won't make the babies go out in the cold rain just so I can have a starbucks and go to target.. The girls are growing like weeds and in 46 days they will be 2. I will be the mom to twin two year olds...OMG!!! Seems like yesteday they were this big....and weighed 4 pounds....now they weigh 25....yikes.
