Blooming Tomato's

I had wanted to grow something this summer with the girls. So, with the help of Grandpa we planted a large container garden containing big tomato's, grape tomato's & green peppers. Here's a few pics of our prize winners. The girls have been so thrilled to watch them grow from green to red. They know once they are red we can eat them...to which they cry, yummy, my Grandpa do this....mommies never get any credit...oh well, enjoy!

Colors of the Rainbow

We are learning to color...we almost never eat crayons these days. I have to say I am so happy that Crayola makes non-toxic, washable crayons. As we have learned to color both of my girls have eaten a crayon or 2 each and getting all of it of their mouths is quite a process. BUT, I am happy to say we have learned how to use our fine motor skills and how to color without eating a crayon. Here are Emma and Sarah coloring at Grandma's house over this past weekend.

Long time coming

I have not blogged in a very long time. Life has taken over, plus I wasn't sure I had anything worthy to say. The girls turned 2 on March 1st and have turned into lovely little toddlers. They are funny, witty and big time repeaters...their current favorite to repeat is when I call their daddy, my husband, by his first name. If momma calls out Michael, they will repeat his name over and over again...it is very funny. They also call him Honey, Daddy, Michael, like it is his one long name. Here is a current pic...this was taken on the slide at Grandma & Grandpa's house. Enjoy!
